I'm
annoyed to no end. I've been trying to make this
f*cking card work with
linux for hours. I get to the point where I'm
randomly swapping the cards in and out, trying to figure out why it works so
sporadically.
At one point I watched the bootup sequence, saw that it wasn't going to work, so, pissed off, i grab my screwdriver and pull the nic out of the machine and stick the old one in its place. I turn around to turn the computer back on, then realize...
"Oh shit. I just hotswapped an ISA card..."
I don't think my computer should still work. Oh well...Linux was still sitting there, twiddling its thumbs and smiling happily. I close the box, and decide that I'm done for the day.
