Iguana iguana:
The common green iguana is the most widely ranging of the iguanids. Found from northern Mexico to southern Brazil, and westward towards Paraguay, and on some islands of the Lesser Antilles. Breeding colonies can also found in Florida and Hawaii. Adult males may occasionally exceed 6 feet in length. By far the most popular iguana of the pet trade and found in thousands of homes worldwide.

Iguana delicatissima:
Antillean Green Iguana. This species starting to decline due to habitat destruction, and competition from I. iguana. Normally found on many islands of the Lesser Antilles. Not quite as big as the common green iguana, I. delicatissima rarely reaches 6 feet in length.
