Generally Glaswegians are friendly though they tend to have a reputation for random violence which is mostly unfounded.
Most ire is directed at the citizens of Scotland's other major city Edinburgh. It's hard to say just why this should be but it's got to the point where logic no longer comes into the equation, just like the refusal of Rangers and Celtic fans to accomodate each others point of view.
Glaswegians think the people of Edinburgh are stuck up, unfriendly and English.
