Generator locking device.
Genlock takes two composite video signals, and sends out one signal. The device synchronizes the two signals so that mixing or crossing them is possible.
Usually, such thing is used to merge video signal from one source (VCR, video camera, whatever) and video signal from computer. Highly useful for adding text or subtitles to the video signal.
