Flame Wars are usually the product of mutual disagreement in so-called Chat Rooms. A Troll will strike up a subject, most probably one about religion/politics/sexual orientation/OS preference and one that has been discussed about 3 Trillion times. Another Troll or a gullible person with answer, and soon enough the whole chat room will be "ablaze" with profanity and useless discussion. Flame Wars can go on for minutes, hours, even for days in some cases.
