Someone who follows a subset of the kosher dietary restrictions. Common restrictions followed, in approximate order of commonness:

  1. Not eating pork.
  2. Not boiling kids in their mother's milk.
  3. Not eating shellfish.
  4. Not eating leavened bread on Passover.
  5. Not mixing meat and dairy
  6. Not eating dairy for 6 hours after eating meat, and 1 hour vice versa.
Beyond this list, people tend to run into being kosher or simply going vegetarian.
