Eggs was a band from Washington, D.C. centered around Andrew Beaujon, with more than 20 others having supported him in his recording and live efforts. The band was a part of the DC Teenbeat scene from 1990 until 1995. It's poppy without being wimpy.

Eggs have a ton of 7"s, many of which are out of print. However, the How Do You Like Your Lobster album is a collection of all of the 7"s and rare tracks the band has done, making it a good place to start if you're interested.

Primary Eggs members were Andrew, Dave Park, Marianne McGee, John Rickman, Rob Christiansen, Evan Shurak, Ian Jones, and Jane Buscher; Andrew was the only member to last the lifetime of the band.

Mr.Hensley's neighbor didn't visit him much
but tried to remember to drop in
once in while

Late on Wednesday he knocked on the door
but no one answered, so
Not wanting to pry
he went back home

He returned three days later
finally
walking to the back door which was
open

He followed a trail of groceries into the kitchen
finding

a loaf of bread
thawed bag of frozen waffles
a few apples and

upside down
a box of eggs, some left in the carton, others
scattered across the kitchen floor
including

a single one resting next to the legs of
the man who was
no longer his neighbor
