Editpad is probably the best text editor I've used in Windows. It is much better than WordPad or NotePad (aka Nodepad). You can have multiple text documents open without having multiple items in your task bar using a nifty system of tabs. I use it for editing HTML and writing nodes, plus other assorted things.
