The result longed for by the Warner Brothers cartoon character Marvin the Martian, and interfered with by Bugs Bunny. "There was supposed to be an earth shattering kaboom!" Marvin's plainitive tone is half of the joke :)

This was supposed to be the end product of the Illudium Q36 Explosive Space Modulator. Marvin was trying to blow up the Earth because it obstructed his view of Venus. Bugs ran off with it instead, so Marvin sent Instant Martians (just add water!) after him.
