The du Bois Center (aka
The Doobie) is a building on
south campus at
Northern Arizona University. The ground level serves as the south division of
NAU Dining Services as well as
NAU Postal Services. The basement holds a few classrooms and offices, mainly used by oddball courses that don't have a building of their own, such as
University Colloquium 101. Upstairs is the
du Bois Ballroom, used for activities such as
Previews and other weird stuff.
The food at The Doobie is generally considered to be of lesser quality than the other on-campus dining option, the University Union, which is located in central campus. However, there are a few fans of The Doobie who hold that the food is what you make of it.
