The
drill sergeant of the
USMC. Feared, respected, and admired, drill instructors will train you physically and mentally. He will take you from young, loud-mouthed, long-haired,
smoking and joking kid to a young, loud-mouthed, short-haired, fighting and general order-folowing machine.
This is not a repetition of drill sergeant. The Marine Corps is very picky about its terminology ... uhhh, nomenclature ... for instance if a recruit calls a Marine drill instructor by the name "drill sergeant", the recruit is in for a real treat ... push ups and assorted calisthenics.
