The best thing to ever hit debate (at least competetive debate anyway). This stuff is pretty much the philosophy of formal debate. Abusive concepts, fantastic principles of argumentation, and all out being meanies comes out when theory is exposed. Some good examples are: counterplans, kritiks, prima facia, negative prima facia, negative burden of proof, resolution v. plan based debate, contradictions, performative contradictions, generic disadvantage impacts, claims and warrants, linear disadvantages, voting paradigms, and being dumb (it's a theory that being dumb can make a person lose).
