"Cup Noodles. For the Very Best in Ramen Noodle Soup."
"Cup Noodles" is a type of ramen noodle sold in a styrofoam cup which is used to hold the broth and noodles during cooking and consumption. Made by Nissin Foods, they used to be a Japaneese export but the noodles found in the United States nowadays are made mainly in the same country.
Nissin Foods was founded in 1948 by Mr. Momofuku Ando and first introduced "Chicken Ramen" in 1958 which proved to be the very first instant ramen. Today, Nissin Foods produces "Top Ramen" in addition to "Cup Noodles". They offer the same flavors in both styles. Flavors offered are Beef, Chicken, Cajun Chicken, Chicken Mushroom, Chicken Vegetable, Creamy Chicken, French Onion, Pork, Seafood, w/Shrimp, w/Shrimp Picante Style, Spicy Chicken, Teriyaki Chicken, Hot Sauce Beef, Hot Sauce Chicken, and Hot Sauce w/Shrimp.
