Coenzyme A is a complex molecule consisting of a nucleotide (adenine & ribose) with a vitamin (pantothenic acid) and acts as a carrier of acetyl groups for the Krebs cycle in the link reaction

A coenzyme that takes part in fatty acid metabolism. It contains pantothenic acid and serves as an acyl group carrier.
