An Advanced Dungeons & Dragons alignment; the idea of being above the law, but not above morality. If laws coincide with morality sufficiently (or at the very least don't get in the way of it), a chaotic good character will usually follow them, more for the sake of not getting into trouble unnecessarily than anything. However, the rights and lives of others are much more important than rules, especially rules for their own sake. Chaotic good characters are generally big believers in the concepts of civil disobedience and individual freedom.

Pteryx sees herself as chaotic good; she feels people who identify with the other eight AD&D alignments should node the rest of them.
