Laputa: Castle in the Sky is one of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpieces. An anime film, it is about a girl named Sheeta who is trying to escape from pirates and the government with help from a young boy named Pazu. It is an incredible film; the artistry and design behind it is phenomenal. Miyazaki is the director behind the new Princess Mononoke film behind released here in the US, known as Mononoke Hime in Japan. Hayao has also been known for his other films Nausicaa and Totoro.
