Literally meaning "kid" in the sense of a baby goat, this word is used as an insult in Mexico and other Spanish speaking countries. Although it is used at times as a friendly insult between friends, it is a strong insult, of the type that produces fistfights if used carelessly.
Also used to describe a situation; Hoy el tráfico está cabrón "today the traffic is terrible".

This word also has a traditional meaning.
It is a man who cannot sufficiently please his wife sexually, so she cheats on him or leaves him. This is how the word was used before it became a part of the common vulgar slang.
