A section of a hospital, the destination of victims with really bad burns burns severe enough that they require medical attention (second degree-third degree). During World War II, such wards were packed with horribly disfigured vets, victims of bombs and shells and such. Of course, in times of peace, burn wards are still a necessity. You can even have sunburn bad enough that renders a burn ward visit necessary...so I have been told in the Chatterbox.
