(Salvelinus fontinalis) A small trout, with lots of colorful spots. Very tasty. At Gold Lake, in the Oregon High Cascades, they are so plentiful that the state has increased the limit to 30 per day; the normal limit for trout caught in a lake in Oregon is only 10 fish. The concern is that the are such voracious little eaters, that they make it difficult on the native rainbow trout.
