1) A fairly simple professional wrestling
To perform one: While both the executor
and the victim
are standing, the executor
lifts the victim
up into the air by his crotch
, and then slams him down onto the canvas
. The victim
lands on his back
. Yes, I know, it doesn't sound terribly devastating--probably the reason it's rarely used anymore. When it is used, it's usually only to set up a more complicated move to follow where the victim
needs to be lying at a certain place on the mat
Contrast this to 1987, when a body slam
was the most complicated move that Hulk Hogan
used to defeat Andre the Giant
in the main event
of Wrestlemania III
, and you get an idea of how much more intricate and complicated wrestling
has gotten since then.
2) A bad B movie
about professional wrestling
made sometime in the 1980s.
I honestly know almost nothing about this picture, and if someone wants to add a writeup
below about it I'd be very appreciative.
