Kinship term (in the
US and maybe elsewhere) for the
woman who is the
mother of one's
child(
ren).
A baby momma is not necessarily the wife, the (or a) girlfriend, or even a friend of the father. Sadly, this term now serves to describe the relationship between many thousands of parents.

There you have it, folks. It's not exactly nuclear, but I think we all need a family no matter what form it takes.
