Aviation fuel, used almost excusively now by GA. Contraction of AViation GAS. The most common flavors are the green colored 100 octane and the blue 100LL (low lead--a bit of a joke, as it contains far more lead than auto fuel ever did). Some lower-performance airplanes can run off of mogas, if their owners get permission from the FAA.
