The antimatter correlate to a quark. For example, an up antiquark has the same mass as an up quark, electric charge -2/3 and carries -1 unit of color. Required in combination with a quark carrying +1 unit of the same color in order to form a meson, e.g.,
red up quark + red down antiquark = pion.
An antibaryon, such as an antiproton, is composed of three antiquarks of three different colors.
