- Considering humanity to have an unimportant, or peripheral, role in the universe.
- Defining a concept, specifically excluding human viewpoints.
The term, being quite unwieldy to speak or write, is not very popular. Thus, the most famous use of the term is in an anime, Revolutionary Girl Utena, where it is mentioned repeatedly in the song "I am an Imaginary Living Body".
