The ZipStick was, IMHO, the finest
joystick ever produced. Made primarily for the
Commodore Amiga it came in sturdy black plastic with two bright yellow buttons at the front and a yellow ring around the base of the stick which also featured a textured round knob at the top.
The sheer amount of abuse this joystick could take was incredible, long after my Amiga had ceased to respond to kick-starts (literally) it sat there in the attic fully functional on its little withered suction feet reminiscing about the classic days of home gaming.
