A 4x4 truck produced by
GM. Z71 Off-Road package, is the same as any other GM
4x4 except that the Z71 comes with gas
shocks and a
Skid Plate. The cost is not justified, but it seems to be more a status symbol than anything else.
An attempt by GM to get more fourbyers to drive their products by adding a few bells and whistles to it. The problem with the Z71 is that if you lift it , you have to do away with the "Off-Road" package parts to do so.
A good truck, just not worth the price to a true 4x4 enthusiast.
