Xibalbá

Xibalbá, the Mayan underworld, was home to the Mayan evildoer, who suffered there from cold, hunger, and pain. It had 9 levels and was ruled by 14 demon lords:

• One Death and Seven Death - the leaders
• Bleeder
• Pus Master
• Jaundice Master
• Blood Gatherer
• Body Sweller
• Sudden Death
• Vomit Master
• Bone Breaker
• Skull Smasher
• Stab Master
• Starvation
• Trash Master

In the Mayan epic the Popul Vuh, the heroes One and Seven Hunahpu travelled down to Xibalbá and defeated the demon lords in a deadly ball game.

In Yucatán, Xibalbá is called Mitnan.
