X-fu

(where x is any string)

Used to denote a high level of proficiency in a field. eg: math-fu, cook-fu, perl-fu (wait... that's already taken!). Kinda sounds comical when stretched out, such as burger-flipping-fu. Best to stick to one (or at most, two) syllables. The world will thank you.

Used in describing the action in B-movies: the art of attacking someone with X, where X is something not normally used as a weapon. The canonical example is chainsaw-fu. Other examples would be, shovel-fu, spork-fu, Chrysler-fu, short-order-grill-fu, and so on. The expression is a favorite of Joe Bob Briggs, drive-in movie critic.
