Witchiepoo was a
character from the old Krofft series
H. R. Pufnstuf. The show was a saturday morning staple for
kids in the early
1970's. Witchiepoo was a character who (surprise) was a
witch. In the
Pufnstuf movie (released in 1970), Witchiepoo was played by Billy Hayes.
The other (more important) manifestation of Witchiepoo is an Everything2 regular. She is a friend of Gahachino and is on my list of writers that I check daily. I suggest that you peruse some of her writeups, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.
