What you'll need:
  • a toothbrush
  • a cup or dish
  • baking soda
  • hydrogen peroxide (over the counter 3% diluted version, the one that sells at the drugstore as an oral debriding agent)
  • mouthwash or water (optional)
Place a pinch to 1/4 teaspoon of baking soda in the cup or dish. Add 1 to 3 drops of hydrogen peroxide. Add at least 3 drops of mouthwash or water to create the desired consistency and to dilute the hydrogen peroxide further. For 30 to 60 seconds, brush the front side of your teeth with this mixture, avoiding the gums and any parts of the teeth that don't need to be whitened. Do not exceed one minute of brushing. Rinse mouth and toothbrush thoroughly.
