1. An Ontario city in the GTA squished between Ajax and Oshawa. Whitby used to be the "Home of the Marigold", but is now advertised as "Durham's Business Centre," or something like that. It is home to Cullen Gardens and Miniature Village, the Whitby Psych, a large emu farm, and the Family Kartways ruins.

  2. A small, fishing town in the UK.

    It's located at the mouth of the River Esk and is home to the Anglo-Saxon church of St. Mary whose churchyard supposedly inspired Bram Stoker to write Dracula. Whitby was also birthplace of Captain James Cook and Frank Meadow Sutcliffe.
