When
adults are talking and they don't want their young
children to understand what they are saying they often spell out some of the words (eg. Did you pick up the B-I-K-E from the shop today?). My dog is sick at the moment and as she hates taking pills we have to secretly put her
medication in her food. The other day my
dog had left some of her food behind and as I was bringing it inside Mum turned to me and said "Has the dog eaten her P-I-L-L?".
Sometimes we forget that dogs aren't human!
