For all you
a cappella buffs out there (here's hoping E2 has a couple
:). This is the name of an
a capella group that was based out of
Boston. They consisted of 5 members, 3 men and 2 women. Their
music is technically
vocal jazz in style, but in their
albums were far richer than that. Their
voices (in part due to their excellent use of recording equipment/effects)
blend together to create very rich, full and atmospheric
sound.
You might notice my use of the past tense when i speak of them as they unfortunately decided to go their separate ways sometime in 2000. For posterity, they were:
