Vinnie Jones was a well-known British football 'star'. He gained notoriety for having a reputation for being particularly violent on the field. He played most of his career as a defender at Everton FC. He is now living in Hollywood, trying to forge a career in film, after a good performance as Big Chris in Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels. As a footballer, he also won several awards playing for his country.

Vinnie Jones has a reputation of being violent off the football-field too - he (has been accused of) biting the nose of a journalist and thumping a neighbour. His football days included a famous stint at Wimbledon FC as part of the overly violent team that seemed to cling on to the bad old days of English football (violence > skill). Now most famous in the UK for: being an ex-footballer; appearing in mobile-phone commercials; his role in Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels; threatening DJ Brandon Block after a drunken on-stage fracas with Ronnie Wood at the Brits recently.
