Vagrant is a mid-sized record label owned by Rich Egan & Jon Cohen, based in Santa Monica. (there is also a Vangrant Records in Seattle.) Vagrant is known for it's emo releases. The Vagrant band you've probably heard of is The Get up Kids. Although I can not confirm it, I believe that Vagrant was founded in 1997.

These bands are all Vagrant bands: Alkaline Trio, The Anniversary, Audio Learning Center, Boxer, Dashboard Confessional, Face To Face, The Get Up Kids, The Gotohells, Hey Mercedes, Hot Rod Circuit, Koufax, New Amsterdams, No Motiv, Reggie & The Full Effect, Rocket From The Crypt, and Saves The Day.
