Richard
Branson and
Jeremy Pearce in December 1996, after the
non-compete
clause which Branson had signed while selling his
former company
Virgin Records to
EMI had expired. V2 is an international company
with offices all over
Europe,
USA,
Canada,
Japan and
New
Zeeland.
It manages, or has managed, acts like
Moby, Underworld, Stereophonics, Ian Pooley, Mercury Rev,
Grandaddy, Rinocerose, Billy Crawford, Tin Star, Alex
Gopher, Black Crowes, Black Moses, The High Llamas, Jungle
Brothers, Tom Jones and Eskobar.
