V-day, an annual event which has one of two popular definitions:
- Vagina Day; or
- Violence Against Women Day
This day of demonstrations, taking place on February 14th (
Valentine's Day), is scheduled for 50 cities, over 200 college campuses and Madison Square Garden.
Jane Fonda has reportedly ponyed up $1 million for this years "festivities".
Eve Ensler, author of "The Vagina Monologues" a cornucopia of hatred against men, is the founder of V-day. Celebrities like Jane Fonda and Glenn Close refer to themselves as soldiers in "Eve's Army."
