Formed in 1961 and headquartered in Boston, the governing body of Unitarian Universalism in the United States provides organization, management, services, and support for members and congregations. The UUA also creates religious education curricula, places ministers with congregations, supports Beacon Press, and produces pamphlets, devotional material, and the bimonthly magazine The World.
