The
Ubrikkian 9000 Z001 is a
transport vehicle from the
Star Wars universe. It's a highly
maneuverable repulsorlift landspeeder,
manufactured by
Ubrikkian Industries. It's
spherical in
shape with a
diameter of 6.8 meters, and it has micro-
thrusters placed around the
hull. It's
equipped with
seating for the
driver and for two
passengers. Its
top speed is 160
kilometers per hour.
The way to enter a Ubrikkian 9000 Z001 is somewhat unorthdox, since the vehicle has no conventional doors. When you are to enter the vehicle the top half separates from the rest and elevates, so that entrance is possible. The top then lowers itself around you again, effectively trapping you inside in case of a malfunction in the elevation function.
One 9000 Z001 is seen parked outside the Mos Eisley cantina in Star Wars: A New Hope; that one is white with its three spherical windows toned black.
