Called by some the
Welsh trainspotting, this is a movie about two twins in
Swansea,
South Wales. Elements that do relate between the two films are: massive amounts of
drugs, very black humor, thick accents. Beyond that, the two films are each unique and different.
Starting when their pa falls off a ladder and the twins are unable to secure compensation from the contracter/owner, the movie quickly moves beyond preliminaries to a tet a tet of vicious revenge.
I recommend it, though its transcendent moments are far more few and far between than the "choose life" of trainspotting.
