These nomadic natives of
Tatooine, also called Sand People, often raid moisture farms and small towns. They take
Banthas as their mounts and attack using their traditional
weapon, the
gaderffi stick. To protect themselves from the harsh suns and sand of Tatooine, they wear heavy robes, breath masks, and eye protection. It is
forbidden for any Tusken to show his
flesh.
