The
TG16 only used
RF output, but the TurboBooster added
A/V composite compatibility (think a
CoreGrafx but not having to buy a new system). The
TB Plus added
extra backup memory for
game saves along with the A/V. The funny thing is, the
TG-CD already had
both of these features.
