Tintin is a young reporter who has a nose for adventure and travels the world with his friend Captain Haddock and his dog Snowy chasing criminals and getting into tight spots. He was originally a black and white weekly comic strip character who travelled to Bolshevik Russia to unmask the dastardly deeds of the communists for a right-wing Belgian newspaper.
