An expression of a problem in documentary/ethnographic films which are biased toward showing rather than telling. There is no way to non-verbally say There is no camel in this scene. This extends to rather more relevant ideas which can't be expressed without voiceover or text, such as there is no child abuse in this house (tribe), or I don't really understand what's going on here.
