In being surrounded,
It is the hardest thing in the world
To forgive the ones surrounding --
Nor perhaps wise.
Hard to think straight,
For me or them.
I toss my meal in one direction
And they go after it,
And I go another direction,
And in leaving the scene,
I wonder what use guilt could be.
