Venice-themed
Las Vegas casino. They have a
canal that runs through the center of the aptly named
Grand Canal Shops. Apparently you can take
gondola rides on the canal, though why you'd want to have a striped shirted man pole you through a mall is beyond me.
The rooms are all
suites, and well appointed, with lots of
gold and
marble. They even leave you a lovely basket of
fruit to eat for
breakfast. On the other hand, the
minibar refrigerator has sensors that automatically bill your account an
astronomical sum if you move anything in it. Needless to say, I left the
door firmly closed through my entire stay.
