Book by O'Reilly Publishing, containing many bits of sample code and a few sample perl programs, absoultley a must have for anyone attempting to make the transition from beginner to intermediate perl programmer. When Teamed up with other O'Reilly books makes up an almost deifintive guide to perl programming

The Perl Cookbook is a book written by Tom Christiansen and Nathan Torkington, and publised by O'Reilly in August 1998. A second edition with minor corrections was printed in September 1998, which is the copy I have. The book is about Perl programming, and contains many little HOWTO 'recipes' for just about every task you might want to do in with perl.

My review of this book is excellent. It is superb. If you like perl, get this book. It is perfect for anyone who knows a little basic perl, or even someone who is an expert. Remember, there's more than one way to do it, and this book will show you how others have.
