An episode of ABC's late-night Wide World of Entertainment that aired in 1975. The network had some cult success a few years earlier with an imported/edited version of a Marty Feldman series, and figured this Python Stuff (Monty Python's Flying Circus had gained a following on some big-market PBS stations, and notice in Newsweek) might also do the trick. It only lasted one night: the sliced-and-diced BBC material raised howls of protests from fans and a mea culpa from the suits.
