Spin-off from the incredibly popular The Man from U.N.C.L.E. TV series. It ran for only one season in 1966, which amounted to 29 weekly episodes back then. The show starred Stephanie Powers as April Dancer (a name invented by Ian Fleming) and Noel Harrison (son of Rex) as Mark Slate.

Powers was very mod, wearing miniskirts and go-go boots, and Harrison had a cool of his own, but the show never achieved the status of the original U.N.C.L.E. series, mainly because it was much sillier. Many fans blame The Girl for bringing The Man down.

The criminals tended to have goofy names, such as Genghis Gomez VIII or B. Elsie Bubb (played by Raymond Massie). It featured fairly famous guest stars, such as Boris Karloff, John Carradine, Fernando Lamas ("you look wonderful, dahhling"), Dom DeLuise (as Stanley Umlaunt), Wally Cox (as Little John Doe), Leslie Uggams, but alas the names were not enough to keep the boat afloat.
