An area in
Mexico City. Its main geographical feature is a hill, on top of which the
Carcel de Mujeres enjoys a great view (the prison, not the inmates).
It is in the delegación
Tlalpan, and contains the southernmost point of
Periferico Sur, a fact that is probably very important from a
feng shui point of view, but nonetheless fails to impress.
Tepepan has absolutely nothing to offer to the tourist. No ruins, no little boats like in Xochimilco, no picturesque old village like in Tlalpan.
There is a reasonable panaderia called Peripan.
